madcrow reporting in...

There have been alot of questions lately asking about how to convert cod .map files to coduo .map files, so I have decided to write a little simple and basic tutorial:-

1. Download and install CoD UO Radiant (You can download it Here )

2. Open UO Radiant. Select file... import ( .map )... new map

3. A dialog box should appear. Select your .map and click Open.( Defaults to C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\Main\maps )

4. Your map should appear intact in UO Radiant, and you can now save it as a .gmm file!

the textures should be in the normal places, but if you are using custom ones, be sure to include them in your pk3 in the directory they are in when you used them...[angryalien]

i would hazard a guess that you dont have your UO editor setup properly

make sure that you have followed this tutorial and that you have adjusted your .gam settings to suit your installation (file --> game settings --> edit)

Hey guys I need some help here, I'm trying to followthis tutorial [Setting up the Editor - Part 2 (Game Settings)], but I can't read the path fields since the images have been sized down...

I think know what I'm supposed to do from following what I can read on the tutorial, but I changed some of the Game Settings paths by accident and don't know what the default ones originally were. [ohwell]

Still, I think I had everything set up right at a time, but the textures and models were not visible on the .map I imported from CoDRadiant. I can't tell for sure if everything was correctly set, though, so that's why I'm asking for the default paths so I can correct everything.

Can someone please post them here so I can verify this problem?
Thanks in advance! [wave]

Rightclick on the images and select "save picutre as" and save it to your computer. The images are bigger than they appear in the tutorail, but are downsized in the tutorial so they would fit.

(if you use firefox you can also doe rightclick -> View Image.)

That did it, it's all working fine now.
Thanks, Caretaker.
