Figured out how to move the Titan and access extra commander options after 2 hours of playing...

It was one of those two. Once I moved the Titan I got kicked since the admins were pretty childish (they said no one could ram but they rammed).

I started playing all over again from the beginning. I realized that all the unlocks I was picking was for a player class that I don't enjoy playing. So now I am playing with the intent to unlock the right gear.

I enjoy playing as Assault. Now I just want to gain experience quicker for more unlocks. lol.

Also, I guess there aren't many MODSonline gamers that enjoy playing this game... or that have the time to play. I asked in another post somewhere how many of us play the game with the idea of getting a server for us. But no go.

I started unlocking stuff for Recon but it doesn't really suit any maps unless you're playing Conquest and plan to camp.

So I started unlocking stuff for Support (got to love those LMGs, they really help out when your Titan shields go out).

My game stutters every now and then, especially when I first enter a map, so I ordered another GIG of RAM. Should be here Wednesday.

If ModsOnline got a BF2142 server I'd be there every chance I can get since I'm sure I'll have a good ping and there'll be an admin present every now and then. Although I don't have time during the weekdays to play unless I miracously finish my homework, I can put in 3-5 hours on the weekends playing.

Is there an EA server error or something because my stats... are all gone. WTF... I am super pissed.

I was playing a match and somehow lost my connection to the EA server and my screen started blinking rapidly so I exited the game between intervals of it blinking.

I sign back on and I'm a recruit with no awards or unlocks... man, it sucks to be a EA game player right now, for me at least.

Anyone else expierence this?

EDIT: EA has server maintence, man, why isn't this on the official EA website...

I enjoy sci-fi but I dunno about 2145. I spent a good amount of time on BF2 when it came out - then lost interest.

One thing I've always wondered. What happens 2-4 yrs down the track. Will they always have authentication servers available?

The big thing I don't like is having to log in everytime if you only want to have a quick SP. Which I still do with BF2 from time to time. What are they going to do then?

BF2 SP isn't fantastic but its good for a quick blast! 2145 would be the same? Have you guys tried SP? Is it the same as BF2? Or have they improved?

Always enjoy a good SP campaign.

Restart the game and see if your stats are there. Another bug that I experience is that your stats don't update on the main screens of the game. However, when you close and restart the game, the numbers are correctly displayed. This does not affect your ability to unlock. It's just incorrectly displayed.

I was never much of a fan of SP play. However, I do fully enjoy the co-op mode. This is pretty close to SP except you can have friends join you on your lan. I am enjoying 2142 much more than 2. I think it's the additional close-quarters fighting due to all the buildings in the game. I highly recommend checking out the demo. From there you can decide if it's what you will enjoy.

Although the demo map was (Verdun) is more spread out than most of the other maps in the game, you will get a sense of how it plays.
