Hi!

I've been trying, unsuccessfully, to implement ForbiddenArea or ForbiddenBoundary, but I can't figure it out. Looking at the demo levels hasn't helped me. I can draw the area out, but can't figure how to make it/them work. I'm also not sure what exactly the difference is between the two, or which one I should be using.

Has anyone attempted this yet?

Anyone have a link to a tutorial for this yet?

Thanks.

I can't seem to get this one. I see there are two entities involved in this. There is the AreaShape (Area box or Shape) which is linked to the ForbiddenArea. There is a script involved and some other functions that define what happens to the player when they exit this defined area.

I can place the boundaries, but I can't figure out what to do from there. I think it's script related and scripts don't load with a map file. This makes it tough to inspect the island map.

Here are some links to the tutorial and the Level files.
I'll update or make changes if there are any problems.

Hopefully everything is OK. [crazy]

I just noticed, in Step 5:

"To the right on the RollupBar, scroll down to the Target area on the menu. Click the Select button."

It should read this:

"To the right on the RollupBar, scroll down to the Target area on the menu. Click the Pick button."

I updated it. Sorry for any confusion.
