so i was wondering wat mp_tool does...and being me i click it and run it

and... the game runs, minimizes itself, then closes..

thought it was harmless

THEN, i go to play sum multiplayer in my normal multiplayer exe and the servers wont refresh.............

how can i fix this?

when i doubleclicked the mp_tool.exe the menue showed up, but no cursor and a missing graphic (where a green "new" should be). it completely crashed, i had to kill it using the task manager...

I think the Radiant.exe uses this. You can't run it yourself.

mp_tools is for the map compile program, don't run it by clicking it.

but i already ran it and it messed up my multiplayer cuz theres no servers showing up...

Try deleting servercache.dat.

Always make a copy of you game folder for modding :)

nope, still not getting refreshed server list...

i bought the game through steam, so i had to uninstall the hard way by deleting content cuz i didnt want the bug being backed up...so i redownloaded the 10g file

and installed the game, then updated punkbuster and still nothing

(and yes i did save my profile...)

i just downloaded and ran the 1.4 update and STILL nothing

im gona see if i remove my profile wat would happen...i just dunno wtf is wrong
