So I'm designing this new pc because my current rig can't even play TF2 on low details and an FPS config without lagging :(

I was just wondering of all of this will fit together nicely and work well together, Please also post recommendations for any changes to the components

1 x Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 Stepping (2.4GHz 1066MHz) Socket 775 L2 8MB Cache (2x4MB (4MB per core pair) Retail Boxed Processor 131950 £132.74

1 x ASUS P5KC AiLifestyle Series iP35 Socket 775 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard 132275 £61.97

1 x Asus 8800GT 512MB GDDR3 Dual DVI HDTVOut PCI-E Graphics Card 134944 £144.40

1 x Arctic Power 700W PSU - With PCI-E, 1x SATA, 20+4, ATX12V, 8pin +12V Connectors - Retail Boxed 124927 £34.96
1 x Coolermaster Elite 330 Black Mid Tower Case - No PSU 127584 £20.93

I am ordering all of this from eBuyer for £475.19 inc VAT and Delivery. I already have a Monitor, Keyboard and Mice. I'm just wondering if these would work with the new setup as well, Since I already have these it would help on saving money

1x Western Digital WD5000AAKS 500GB SATA II 7200RPM 16MB Cache - OEM

2x Crucial 1GB - Can't remember the clock speed, I will probably have to upgrade this to DDR3 for Max Performace in Games

All I want is to Have Good Settings in Games like Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike Source
, My friend can Max Out all settings in TF2 and get good FPS, I hope this setup can do the same :) The numbers with the names from eBuyer are the quick find codes, You can use these to check the specifications if needed. I will be using Windows XP Pro SP2

I've got one of those g0 q6600 quad cores - can't recommend it enough. Clocked up to 3.2ghz without a hitch (with water cooling - but i've read of people getting 3.6 on air)

I put mine on an asus striker extreme mobo with one of the new 8800gt 512 cards - can't fault it.

Your kit choice looks great.....except i'm an nvidia fan haha
