This why I would love to create a community patch. I always thought a community patche would be nice, ever since 1.5 hit COD1 and pretty much everyone knew that the game wouldnt get any more updates.

The problem is, unless someone wants to hackt their way through loads of files, it's always going to be reversible.

Roll on the leak of the COD1 source code. [casanova]

Regarding a community patch: would it even be possible to "mod" these exploits into extinction? I've done a lot of different things with the CoD series, but I wouldn't even know where to start on something like that (though it seems you'd have to have access to the netcode).
