Hello,
Here is my new Left 4 Dead map that i am working on there will be 4 parts to it probs will not support Versus until the Real SDK's are out but it will be coop and i will release a beta of the map in a few weeks depends if i have time to finish it also here is a couple of screen shots in the mean time. :D

That white fog is giving a bad affect to your map, and just looks unnatural. Besides that I think the map looks good. The HL2 graffiti makes me think headcrabs instead of infected are going to be in the map.

The white fog has to be there, You can have it so it isn't there but then fire and the smokers smoke trail will not work, They are all controlled by the same env_fog entity. Personally i think the whole thing looks great so far.

It's also a little odd that you posted on a thread from over a month ago but that doesn't really matter.

It's not that the white fog has to be removed, its the fact that its color, and brightness don't compliment the map. To look off into the distance and see a completely white side of a building does not look good in a map(atleast not for his urban night setting). The L4D maps do use lighter fog to have silhouettes pop out more, but for the most part you don't see solid white.I would suggest picking a fog color that blends with your skybox.

Also I haven't visited the site in awhile, and I recently started mapping for L4D. So I figured I would stop by the forum and see what the modsonline community is doing with L4D mapping. I am by no means trying to a nasty critique, but am trying to help him out.

Oh i see what your saying, Sorry my bad, I thought you meant remove the fog all together.

As for what is modsonline doing for l4d, i have already added a few tutorials to the site and i've got a load more lined up in the next few days/weeks and some video tutorials might be coming once the official sdk is released.

Feel free to add some of your own, If you have time

Maybe I will make a few tutorials. If I can find a good screen capture program I will probably work to make a few.
