Since i started using mapping program, my cod 4 has been playing in window mode, anyone know how to convert back to full screen?

i had this problem in the last day since using CoD 4 tools, easily solved after hours of googling, open your game up drop the console and typ "/r_fullscreen 1" without the quotes of course, it only takes effect when you restart your game, don't use any hot key to close it or whatever, close it through the main menu, launch it back up and it should be fullscreened again

Two console commands:

r_fullscreen 1

vid_restart

There's also a download somewhere on this site with modified .bat files that forces the mod tools to open the game in full screen mode.

/r_fullscreen 1

Also if you look at the bottom of the compile tools window,
Check the box "Enable custom command line options"
and put "+set r_fullscreen 1" without quotes, this will tell compile tools to run cod4 in full screen whenever you hit run selected map, this way you wont have to keep typing the command into the console everytime you wanna play the game in the future.

here is a better fix so it will never do it again it will do it again that way and u have to keep on typening that out
as long as u have your full screen back now
go too Root\players\profiles\yourpofile
Find
config.cfg
right click go to propeties
click
read-only
Apply then OK
do the same for
config_mp.cfg

now every time you run your map from the editor or in sp/mp your screen stays full
