It seems that all fileplanet subscribers such as myself and most likely most of you can now preload the PC BETA of CoD:WW. I'm guessing this means Treyarch are going to be releasing those PC keys pretty soon.. if not later this day. head to www.fileplanet.com to pre-load.

a few people say, they already got a beta key. but we still have to wait for fileplanet to unlock the pre-loaded beta setup :/ //edit: just received my own beta key and now downloading setup @ 270 kb/s (not FilePlanet, seems to be unlocked) edited on Oct. 28, 2008 04:50 pm by Sevenz

go to callofduty.com if youre if you have a account clink on the rightside on profile picture and it opens up youre profile there you see a pc and xbox key...

To the above, im getting the same error and apparently so are lots of others. Im looking into it but i doubt it can be fixed by mere file shifting, its most likely an .exe error :( Thats what happens when they rush a non-ready beta cause of public demand :(

Error during initialization: Unhandled exception caught go to youre sound manager and change the defauld format to 24 bits,44100 hz this worked for me....

I've seen a lot of people with this error, stranger thing is that most of them i've seen seem to be running on Vista (different versions). I'm running on Vista Ultimate (without SP1 atm) and I've had absolutely no problems with installing or running the beta (thankfully). As for you guys that havent been able to yet, hang tight, i can guarantee someone if not treyarch will come up with some solution/quick fix. If you get any missing dll's errors just search the name of the DLL in google , find a download site (there's lots of them) , download the dll and place it (usually) in the windows/system32 folder. (some may need to be placed in the game folder.. but that's unlikely..)
