Hi guys!

I just added a waterfall to my map and after getting "server compile script error" a couple of times i got it sorted, my map loaded fine, the only thing is! I got no waterfall[confused] There's no water falling, ripple rings or mist, i've got the .efx files where they should be, this is my fx.gsc

So! Can anyone tell me why it would compile and let me play but not give me my waterfall.

Also can anyone tell me what the last co-ords are at the end of the above 3 lines.

I've also got no sound, i've got the .wav in the sound folder, and this is my .csv file in sound aliases,

Hi Ian, try remove the fx/ in thse paths

I could be wrong but I dont think thats needed.

Or try this one fx_mp_water_fall_sm

There's a splash one in there too for the bottom of the fall

They are inc:\program files\activision\call of duty - world at war\raw\fx\maps\mp\mp_maps

Sorry but also dont forget to add the fx's line to the bottom of your csv

Sorry again Ian, maybe those paths are correct after all...

Just looking into it again.

Is it me? sorry Ian but I cant for the life of me find that path to those fx's you have there!

Did you create your own folder?

Don't forget to add

fx,(directory of effects inside fx folder)

for example:
fx,env/water/fx_wtrfall_md

to your mp_mapname.csv file.
