WePlayCoD believes it to be Treyarch:

Joystiq believes it to be Bethesda:

I'm leaning towards CoD7 since JFK was involved in the Cuban Missile crisis which is connected to the Cold War, and CoD7 is rumored to be in Vietnam/Cold War.
But at same time, the whole atom and nuclear images in the transmission could also be Fallout, but the new game is in Las Vegas and not in New York (a la Yankee Stadium photo transmission).
Also to note, WePlayCoD team got a physical USB drive like JoyStiq. I don't see why Bethesda would send Fallout material to a Call of Duty community. Guess we'll find out more through the week. |

Ran a whois search on the domain name www.gknova6.com, Turns out the registrar for that domain is Markmonitor.com.
What's so interesting about that you ask...Nothing...However if you run another whois search, this time for www.treyarch.com... Markmonitor.com is also the registrar; whereas Bethesda’s is CORPORATE DOMAINS, INC. Coincidence, possibly, it's a bit unlikely though. |

What you hear is I think what the MI6 & CIA used during the Cold War and today in there operations, its called "number stations".
Its a special code that they use to talk to other agents that even if intercepted, cant be decoded very easly.
on youtube there are some interesting video's about it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McFRonD-sjg&feature=related
you can hear in this video the kinda thing they have in that video. |

sevensniff writes...Quote: From what i can see the letters form a date.
novasixnovasixnovasixnovasixnovvasixnovasixnovasixnovvasixnovasix
now we can see that novasix happens 4 times then we get a novvasix (double v) so if we break this down into lines we get this:
novasix novasix novasix novasix
novvasix
novasix novasix
novvasix
novasix
if we count each word in each line we get
41211
which when converted into a date is:
04/12/2011
i dono the significance of the date, but thats what i came up with, for the letters
Edit:
it actualy goes
novnovasixnovasixnovasixnovasixnovvasixnovasixnovasixnovvasixnovasix
there was an extra nov at the start so this actualy makes my date
14/12/2011

Now subract 1 from each because where in 2010, and you end up with
11/13/2010
Quite possibly a release date? |
