How many of you are playing Battlefield 2142? I know it has some bugs which will discourage about half of you from buying the game right now. But I am really enjoying the game. I'm wondering if there are enough of us who enjoy playing that we should consider getting our own server. Make it MODSonline only or something. Just a thought.

I bought it last week, installed it, and patched it up but haven't had time to sit down and play it yet. School. Do you know how to move the Titan as commander? I could never figure it out on the demo.

I'm really not sure how to control the Titan or even if you can. I have seen the Titan slowly move from one end of the map to the other, but I don't know if that was controlled. I don't enjoy playing as a commander. Too much micro-management. I like to get in there with a squad. I did find another issue with the game a couple nights ago. When playing online, you may get booted after 15 minutes of play due to punkbuster. You need to go to evenbalance.com and download the punkbuster updater for a fix. That solved my problems. I can definitely see why gamers would be discouraged to play. It takes 15-20 minutes to install. Then you have to download and install a patch (large patch). Then you go to play online and you have to wait 5 minutes or more for the shaders to optimize (first time playing only). Then you have to get kicked by punkbuster and solve that issue. Finally you can play. That's what.... 15 minutes of play after 1.5 hours. By that time gamers like myself are wondering if it's worth continuing. Well... I enjoy playing enough that I do think it's worth playing.

I haven't seen any bugs... but there is a patch already. That's what I am basing this on.

I did not think I would like this game - but I love the Titan mode Among other things, I really like defending the ship when the shields are down Weapons are excellent
