I will just post my reply. I sometimes draw a layout/blueprint or think of an idea/map in my head but most of the time I just start using radiant. I use inspirations as well.

Past post shouldn't be locked because we can always reuse them. If there is something to add or make clear of something, we can reuse them. Creating new topic can take time and take up space. I don't know how forums work but I am pretty sure it takes up space.

Really guys, it isn't necessary to reply here, I had my lecture something like two years ago, it went great, I don't need any more input xD

Though I agree a general topic on this subject might be convenient, the set up of such a topic would be different enough to merit a new one.
